It was great to hear the initial Marillion album live and they obviously had a nice time on the stage - look at Nick who wants to hug and squeeze me Big smile

Mick Pointer - very cool behind his drum set  - and Brian Cummins joking and talking a lot to the people in the audience
It's not quite natural but Nick, Brian and Mick mixed with the people after the show and made small talk - awfully nice!
Hopefuly I'll have the time to write a review - but more pictures are following for sure - presented on my website ...

Hmm...

From the videos on youtube, this didn't look to good to me.

Is this one of those Atmosphere, you-have-to-be-there sort of events?

Sounds like you had fun, I hope you did!

I've seen the show twice now and I really enjoyed both times; the best was right down the front at The PEEL.  Yes, I guess atmosphere has a lot to do with it, but the performances were good too, especially Mr Barrett who plays the guitar solos as good if not better than Rothery.

And where else can you get to see Grendel live?

...looking forward to seeing them again at Loreley!

p.s. - did you know Mrs Pointer (Nathalie) design the artwork used on the bass drumskin?

No, I didn't,

I thought it might've been a Mark Wilkinson job, it was done brilliantly though!
