I only remember when, staying at my grandparents, I relaxed in the bed one afternoon, listening to Chopin's Polonaises (with Rubinstein mmm!). The cat followed me in the bedroom and eventually slept on my chest, purring, throughout the whole listening.

I can't wait to have cats of my own - of course, they better like music. Wink

When I was 16, eons ago, I had a boa constrictor (Boseley) who really seemed to react to Frank Zappa. I played a lot of music in my room, but he only seemed to get active when Zappa was playing. Maybe he just wanted some titties & beer? Nyuck!
