My name is Michael BB. I live in Madison WI. I have been playing progressive rock tribute music for 10+ years here in Madison and in the Chicago area. I am looking to join an existing YES band, or form a new one with veteran persons. I am a full-time musician, with a teaching practise here in Madison.
   I am a college-trained musician, with lots of composition and transcription experience. My gear is 2 Roland XP's, a VK8 organ, an FP3 piano, and a Moog Voyager.
   Am willing to travel for regular rehearsals. Please email to [email protected]  If you are in the Chicago or Milwaukee area, that's great. If you are farther, like Minneapolis, Indianapolis, or even St.Louis, that could still work. Audio and video samples upon request.

Any luck? I am living in Minneapolis and would love to hear a Yes cover band.  Yes is a really great band. Really enjoying Time and a Word right now. Didn't realize how excellent of an album it is!

Michael BB here. YES, we DID have some luck! There are four musicians, including me, and a possible singer, with previous YES experience coming together. The band will be called YesMusic. Look for us online sometime soon. Search for yesmusic all one word, and we ought to come up. My current partial YES band is called PROG, we are located in Madison,WI. We have 4 or 5 YES tunes up, along with Genesis, Rush and Jethro Tull stuff.

Michael BB here,to say that a new YES band has formed in Milwaukee, WI, called, simply, YesMusic.
  The members are myself, on keyboards, Gordon Ranney on guitar, Raul Terriquez on bass, Michael Fell on drums, and Jim Mahr on vocals. Look for a website about us coming soon.

That is interesting.  The Yes Tribute band Howe, Squire and White, otherwise known as In The Present, will be playing here in Detroit next week. WinkLOL
