I recently listened to some of Fred Frith's ensemble composiitions where he uses electronics. I like it, but I could do with more classical and less experiemental. I was wondering if anyone could direct me toward any Classical composer that writes in a modern, non-minimalist, non-ambient, non-soundscape symphonic style and uses electronics. I would love to hear a serious symphonic piece with synthesized symphonics wrapped around a textured core of real instruments (acoustic, electric, electro-acoustic).

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for but from the description it sounds like the classic "Switched-On Bach" fits:
