I just tried to find a certain thread about High Tide again, but when I did a search for High Tide all I got was a post about a High Tide rating bug, although a week ago there had been about 10 threads about that band. It looks as if the Search function is bugged.

setting any date helped to show many of the other threads, but I still could not find the thread I was looking for

That's usually because of a typo in the thread title or an abreivation of the band name.

Did you selected the option TOPICS instead of the option POSTS that is the default one?

Searching the Post Body has been recently disabled by M@X to speed-up the PA server.

Yes Dean I know, but the Topic and Post option is still active and has mnothing to do with the search in the body of any post. Wink:

Sadly the ¨post function is the default one, but if you use that one, you won't get almost anything except posts in threads started by you.

I believe that is only true if you search by User Name (eg BaldJean), searching by by Key Word (eg High Tide) returns the same info just displayed differently.
