Hey, my name is Ben.

I listen to bands like Mind's Eye, Dream Theater, Spock's Beard, Pain of Salvation, Shadow Gallery, Green Carnation, Evergrey, Ayreon (<3), and the like.

I need more narrative concept albums.

Dean's right, you'll find a lot of interesting stuff here. Narrative concept it is you're looking for? Then I'm sure you'll have heard Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. But have you heard Triumvirat? Spartacus and Pompeij come to mind. But there's is loads of others and other people will share their thoughts about them with you!
Welcome!

Thanks, Dean.
I didn't know that Threshold had concept albums, I have only heard some of their stuff.

Most of Threshold's albums are themed rather than being concepts, but Clone is a concept album.

Another Prog-Metal band famed for concepts is Savatage. They have only produced three fully-fledged concept albums: Streets - A Rock Opera, Dead Winter Dead and the Wake of Magellan. Poets & Madmen, is sort of a concept, being loosely based around the work of South African photo-journalist Kevin Carter.

I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra, so I have been meaning to check Savatage out, but have yet to get around to it.

Howdy from Texas.  You've come to the right place.
