Just got an email notice this morning about an upcoming Sept. 11 release called "Turn it on Again:  The Hits Tour Edition."  Anybody got any inside info on this 2 disc set?  Anything new here?  I did notice it has some Peter Gabriel era stuff like "The Knife- pt.1" on it.  Is this live stuff or just another repackaging rip-off?  Does anybody really need this?  I'm just sayin'.  Confused

I thought it was already out. Saw it a couple of months ago, but didn't bother to check the tracklistSleepy

Okay.  Maybe they're just trying to keep up with the constant overwhelming demand for "Illegal Alien."  Clown

This has been in our local Woolies chart for a while. Obviously there are a lot of closet prog fans in Essex.

Hmmmm.  I don't think the question is whether or not you like Genesis.  Genesis is my favorite band, yet I will not get this, because I already own all the songs on their studio albums.  However, even if I did not own all of their albums, I would not be getting this set, because about half of it is some of their worst stuff (Invisible Touch, and so on).  I think the point of this is the constant repackaging of "hits" cds.  Now if instead of a hits cd they tossed out some new goodies, like with the archives boxed sets, I'd be interested.  Let's hear The Movement, the demo version of Duchess with Tony on lead vocals, the 15-minute version of Abacab, the 19-minute live version of The Knife, and the long version of Going Out to Get You and so on.  That would be a package worth buying.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

There must be 100s of Prog bands who wish they could write a song as good as "Follow You, Follow Me", plucking a name out of the ether.....IQ? Smile

I'd like to have Inside and Out on cd but i don't fancy getting this 2 cd set just for that. I think the only other way of getting it is if you bought the 1st remasters box where I beleive it was on the bonus disc.

Well I don't think for one minute that IQ are as good as Genesis but IMO they have written plenty of songs better than Follow You, Follow me.
