Topic: A Brazilian fan of music =] Posted: September 09 2006 at 15:55 |
Hello all; my name is Estela but I register myself as Swanhild in all
Internet communities I belong. I am quite a fan of music, enjoying rock
in general, some pop (I was a teenager in the 80s), metal (prog-metal
in particular, which is what brought me to the progressive I know now
and to Prog Archives, which I have been following for some time), early
music, and of course, MPB (Brazilian music =]). Something of
everything, maybe; but no boundaries to music for me, as long as it be
good.
Thank you for making this site; it is truly great.

I *love* Temple of Shadows, specially the first songs (Waiting Silence
and Shadow Hunter are the best ones IMO; remember myself writing in my
room at work and *freezing* in the middle of a sentence as the computer
started to play WS). I do not know Rebirth and their other releases
yet; I wonder (and need to find out) if they
are also that good.

Swanhild, Have a look at the homepage of this site. At the top you will see all the different genres. Click on Progressive Metal and you will get the complete discography of numerous prog metal bands!

Thank you, WaywardSon; I am always looking for bands in the prog metal
charts, and other charts as well, and I have found out some good stuff
there (among many things I got some Genesis and Rush and loved it; but
Yes does not click with me yet, except for a few songs). This week I
read something good about Rebirth and other Angra albuns, which means
that I will soon start to look for new material from them again.
