It happens very often to me that I get unexpectedly thrown out a short period of time after my first logging in and I have to log in again.
Or I have to log in twice 'cos for the first time it doesn't work.
Man, this is annoying!!!

Actually I've noticed that too. Sometimes I'm not logged in when I'm sure I logged in a few minutes ago. Originally I thought it was just my brain going, but maybe there is something going on.

Do you clear out your "cookies". That can affect it.

Bob, this sounds like the problem I pointed out and that has been bothering me for two weeks. This happens only with Progarchives and from my work computer. When I log in from the cybercafe I do not have a problem but I log out systematically from there.

I pointed the link that's responsible for it in another thread.

I still think this is created by this frontpage add (top banner) telling us we ot messages or detecting so-called problems in our computer. I never clicked on it, though!

Plus this is the kind of digusting advertising that makes the site look CRASS.

It was happening to me earlier as well.

I went into the Velvet Room after an evening of posting and there was no reply box.  I clicked on "Post Reply" and it sent me to the log-in page.  This happened about 3 times.

Also, unrelated, but I couldn't vote in MANDRAKEROOTS King Crimson versus Tool poll.  If I've voted already, it normally tells me, but this said "You can not vote in this poll".  Any ideas why?

Edit: further to the first point, I just got logged out again, whilst looking through a discography of a band and their list of albums wouldn't show down the side when viewing one album and then the albums themselves wouldn't show up.  There was a VB error.

OOIOO discography

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: '[string: ""]'

/Progressive_rock_discography_includes/inc_discography.asp, line 34

Anybody know why this is?
