I approached "Drama" with some trepidation on its initial release due to the absence of Jon Anderson and the "Buggles" connection, but was very pleasantly surprised - there was the brilliant Roger Dean artwork, good punchy proggy songs, excellent musicianship - i was won over! I had just bought a new stereo system and was blown away by the powerful sound. Trevor's vocals suited Yes nicely, Steve Howe, Alan White and Chris Squire hardly played better,  i couldn't keep the album off the turntable and nagged all my friends about it, apart from PG3 and "Ready an' Willing" Drama was my favourite album of 1980!!!Thumbs Up

When I bought "Drama" on vinyl, almost 20 years ago, I didn't like it very much. Personnally, I'm not that fond of Jon's voice, although I recognize that he is a terrific singer with an unique voice, so I do not give much importance to Horn's voice. I was a bit disappointed with "Drama" at that time. A few years later, a friend of mine got an import CD and I listened carefully to it - and my opinions suddenly have changed. Later, I bought the remastered CD edition, which I listen frequently (can't say the same to many of Yes' other albums).

"Drama" is not at my Yes Top 5, but it's placed at my Top 10 and as an album which grew on me along the years, it will always be a favorite.
