If I knew the requirements for a topic such as this one, I'd likely present you with a more solid outlook on how I view life and music in general, but since I don't know a whole lot and introductory threads, I'll go ahead and just state my name, which is Jason, and leave the vultures in the sky to dissect what they will.

It's great to be a part of a forum meant primarily for progressive music, if that counts for anything at all . . .

A combination of them, I guess. It varies from Dream Theater to Rhapsody, Spock's Beard (along with Neal Morse and, obviously, Transatlantic) to Porcupine Tree, and Marillion to Genesis. Tool, Arena, The Flower Kings, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Symphony X, Mostly Autumn, Mind Key, Ayreon, Pink Floyd, IQ, and, I suppose I'll end with Rhapsody.

I doubt my tastes vary from others on here, but we all have our sparks. And how about yourself, who are you into?
