Aaah!

I've just clicked a page of the artist I submitted album information for, and found out that out of ALL THE ALBUMS I submitted for this group, out of those that had not been rated, have DISAPPEARED INTO OBLIVION.

Some of the albums I contributed were rated and/or reviewed, and those ones are still in the archives, the others, however, are GONE. I sincerely hope that ProgArchives accidently had some glitch in the programming of the site not that the site's position is to delete all the unrated albums(which I would eventually review myself by the way).

It has been an incredibly unlucky today for me from the beginning until the end, I hope I'm not experiencing another problem again. Looking for answer,

I am also sorry for the person who had filled all this discography, which was not too popularly rated when everything disappeared. http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAN D.asp?band_id=2212

Indeed, all the albums of Mother Gong Friede and I added but for "Fairy Tales" (which already had a review) have disappeared too. What is this?

They are all still in the database... but they don't appear in the band page. Only rated/reviewed albums are appearing in the band page.

I see John Zorn and Mother Gong complete discography after clicking in an album already reviewed.

I'll check it with the webmaster. Anyway, they are not LOST.

Hi Guigo,

In order to not create panic and malcontent, maybe there should be an announcement in the front page saying that PA is undergoing maintanance and improvements by M@X and that for the time being people should expect this kind of problems until the constructions are done.

Thanks, Assaf, for the suggestion... this was meant originally to be a minor improvement but it grew and grew - new and good ideas are always being added.

Alright, thanks guys.

I now understand and actually think that it is better that way. I think all unreviewed not just unrated albums should be invisible, so that the people who are just there to explore not rate/review, see what's being offered the most. How is that idea?

Nope... they are all there (or supposedly should be) in the main band page.  M@x fixed it!

Some newbie or some unaware visitor could think that our discography was incomplete or that particular band have only a few works.

Yes, I've noticed that it's back to where it was inititally at and I respect your reasons.

It might look embarassing of me to ask to return back what I had complained about earlier, so I apologise.
