Sometimes I wonder if including Hawkwind in a Hawkwind poll was such a good idea, bearing in mind the solo works are never likely to win any trophies in these polls.

Test Tube Conceived is very underrated. I bought it when it came out and even nearly 40 years later, it's amazing how Calvert was ahead of the times.

Hall of the Mountain Grill. The first Hawkwind album I ever bought back in the 1990s. The atmosphere of Neptune is blue because of all of the luggage.
