Remember Daniel Eliseev Project? Well, the mastermind behind it is back with a new collective and some new music - Bulgarian guitarist Daniel Eliseev has assembled a new band with a solid lineup and returns to the world of prog rock with a dazzling and modern debut album title 'Wind and Memories'. Formed in 2022, this band is not necessarily a continuation of D.E.P. while the music might generally seem informed by this past solo venture of the guitarists and music teacher. Mr Eliseev himself describes the music as art rock with elements of melody rock, heavy prog and space rock, arriving at a very successful and intriguing crossover of genres and influences. And so we have another brilliant offering from one of the underrated but creatively strong travelers in the prog rock universe.

Band lineup:
Daniel Eliseev-Marinovski - guitar
Nikolay Samardjiev - keyboards
Alek Tsandev - bass
Radoslav Mitev - drums and percussion
Special guest: Boil Karaneychev - vocals

Thanks for the suggestion, Nikola.

Daniel's new band is already on the radar. I posted about the 'Wind and Memories' album in the Crossover team thread on 25th January, just to get some opinions on which might be the most appropriate sub genre for it. I was tending towards Neo Prog rather than Crossover myself, and the comment that was made by one of my team mates also suggested that he was picking up more Neo Prog vibes than Crossover.

However, now that you've suggested the band for Crossover, I'll initiate a formal evaluation in that sub genre and we'll listen to the album more thoroughly before reaching a conclusion regarding where to file them. The band certainly belongs here in its own right rather than the album being included simply as an extension of The Daniel Eliseev Project. Thumbs Up
