I don't feel Metallica's "Call of Ktulu" at all. I find it a bit dragging and boring towards the end, although main riff is quite fun for a few minutes. I feel Dave Mustaine has done a much better job with the riff.

But it kinda fits the bill!

There are 2 Shub Niggurath's, the French zeuhl lovecraftian band and a Mexican metal band.

I remember reading Lovecraft while playing Red from King Crimson. A perfect fit!

I love that feeling when a music perfectly fits and kinda merges into the book that you read. Sometimes, even if it doesn't fit, it serves like the purpose of a catalyst. I think, such occurences enhance the imaginative power of the reader.

BTW, after I finish listening to the songs for a poll I participated in, I'll listen to all the Lovecraftian songs that you put here. Smile
