A lot of people like to talk about how great Trout Mask Replica is, so I'm presenting a challenge to you. Try to make TMR a single album by either cutting the amount of songs in half or by cutting the run time in half. Can't wait to see what albums you guys come up with!

I like it as a double album. I can't imagine cutting anything.
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Hi,

The album is just fine as it is, and I like it the way it is ... changing anything will take it away from an artist named Captain Beefheart ... and BTW, HE WAS AN ARTIST and quit music to do his paintings ... and you are making it look like you are telling a painter to take the blue out of that spot! Or the green from that spot!

You wouldn't like it, either!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Makes no difference to me....I don't play the darn thing... the last time I put it on my cat hid  under the couch and my wife went shopping for almost the whole damn day...come to think of it I haven't seen that cat since then.

I would probably make it a Yes or Floyd or Tull album so I could listen to it.

Split it at the halfway point and make it Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
