   Friede and I recently saw "Elle" featuring Isabelle Huppert. it is
quite a brutal movie and certainly not for everyone. it is rated a good
7.2 at IMDB, but there is a huge number of 1-star reviews, so it is
definitely controversial.

we liked the movie a lot. it certainly was daring, but Isabelle Huppert was simply fantastic in a very difficult role.

the movie is a quite new one (from 2016) and directed by Paul Verhoeven.
