I was listening to a Jim Morrison interview from the late 60's, and he was already praising Pink Floyd, and for the direction they were going, said it totally knocked him out.. He went on to say how he loved the beginning and ending of the movie, "Zabriskie Point", which is "Careful With That Axe, Eugene"

There was an interview I saw a few months ago, where Zappa is asked about The Beatles, and says "They were alright" with a smile that seemed to read "If I say they were good, I'd lose points" :)
