   Hey all!  My name is Dan Sciolino, and I compose for a progressive metal project called Forever in Transit, which is based in Buffalo, NY.  I play the keyboard and drums primarily, and guitar and bass enough to get by from a composition standpoint.  I write all of the music and lyrics, and a collective of my best friends from around the Western New York area help me to bring my compositions to life.  
Forever in Transit is influenced by a variety of prog bands.  Some of my favorites are Cynic, Lunatic Soul, Haken, and Dream Theater.  Their influence is very evident in FiT's music, along with influences from fusion, world music, new age, and game music.  I recently released my first ever single, called "The World That Never Was," from upcoming debut album States of Disconnection, which I hope to have out by the end of the year.
