So, yeah. Choose from this selection. Which is your favourite?
Quite a wide range of bands too.
Music is about music. Not mass-produced sounds. Prog is the answer. The answer to everything musical. Prog uses instruments, ensembles and decent materials.
Prog is the answer.

Yer, sorry. My computer froze, which messed up some of the pages. I thought it was on the right section.

I do believe I've already explained...

I'll give it up for Genesis.  I think I know about half of the choices well.  Genesis gets it on sheer impulse.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

No, I don't think any of those groups are progressive enough for inclusion

I still think we might consider taking in the winner of the poll, just to show our positive spirits.

I know all of these band very well apart from Vast. It just has to be TMV, no question, but Mogwai, DT, Yes, PT, Pink Floyd, Transatlantic, Anathema and Opeth are all VERY CLOSE.

Could you please provide some samples for evaluation?

Seriously though, due to the low post-count, I suppose that the topic starter could not make this poll in Prog Polls, unless things have changed.  Although I moved this, this is not an open invitation to create polls in the wrong section that will then be moved.  Suggest New Bands is for suggesting bands to be included in PA's database.

King Crimson and Pink Floyd are my favourites of these.

I thought I'd read that members with low post counts cannot make polls in any section that allows polls to me made by members, but I wondered if that was limited to Prog Polls.  Perhaps it had not been enabled for all forums that allow polls (what I was guessing when I saw this poll made in Suggest new Bands).  And perhaps there's been a  change to the voting restrictions by M@X, or a glitch.

It was enabled for Newbies to make polls in Suggest New Bands, but since this is apparently open to abuse, I've disabled that permission for all Newbies too now.

Then, I'm not sure why anyone should be able to make polls in Suggest New Bands, it's not like we're running a raffle to include bands.
What?

It doesnt matter - if Genesis is your favourite band, then Genesis is your favourite band regardless of which Censored era. Just sayin'
