Another newbie here, new to the forum, not to the music (what a surprise!)

As you see, i'm from Finland, the land of... hmm... coldness... and some great bands too!

My prog-favourites are Pink Floyd, King Crimson and from finnish bands Wigwam (Jukka Gustavson is my favourite) and Absoluuttinen nollapiste (my favourite band).

So... hi everyone. Or something.

Hello there, welcome and so on and so on! Wigwam I know, but tell me - what are Absoluuttinen Nollapiste like? My favourite Finns right now would probably be Höyry-Kone (as my signature proudly declares). I'm also keen on their offshoot group Alamaailman Vasarat.

Anyway, there's a whole WORLD of prog out there, and I hope you discover even more of it through this site! Welcome to Prog Archives.

Anyone propably wouldn't put Absoluuttinen nollapiste in prog-category since they've changed a lot through the years, anyway they're getting more and more progressive. I couldn't find any info about them in english, they're arent known outside our country, big part of their magic is in the lyrics and they're in finnish.

By the way, i'm currently listening to Tuomari Nurmio who just made an album with Alamaailman Vasarat. Haven't heard that album yet, but i'll see them live in about two weeks :)

Thanks everyone for the greeting!

That Tuomari + Alamaailman album ROCKS!! I'd love to see them live but they only tend to gig round Finland. How about a European tour, lads? Go on, you know you want to!
