Easy, one of my favourite DT songs. It's been quite the opposite here. Starved for rain. And if we should believe the professionals then this will go on for quite a while with a change mid summer.

The rain song. A fine use of a mellotron.

So what exactly are you doing in diana? Having had some flood experience myself, best wishes to those who are dealing with this round. More rain as if some people need it. Yeah, I remember you talking about that a while back. Thankfully it's been more of a constant drizzle. Still waiting for summer though haha.

On this list: The rain song. But where is Pain of Salvation's "Enter rain"?

The Rain Song is brilliant, and I like both the studio and the live version from Song Remains the Same. Oddly enough, it is raining here as well, even hailing. Very odd weather for us in May.

Rainmaker - Traffic. Better than the aforementioned.

All the "aforementioned" songs, Ali, not just Lynne's. And Lynne and I fell out right around the Face the Music album. We haven't spoken since.

Hell, my favorite ELO album is New World Record, right after Face the Music. It's one of my favorite records of the 1970's. Ah, so many untrivial hooks in a row! Telephone Line, Shangri-La, Do Ya, wheeeee! I can't help it. Lynne did the opposite of what ELP tried to do. ELP tried to give classical music a rock edge. Lynne gave pop music a classical edge. Me, I openly prefer the latter. Hmmm, Pet Sounds or Tarkus? I think my heart has chosen.

I would rather stick a rusted fork in my left eye than listen to New World Record. But hey, that's why God, in his infinite mercy, sent Jesus down -- so we could all have personal MP3 players and listen to whatever music we wanted to.

What's wrong with New World Record...other than Rockaria? C'mon! Let it ring forevermore. :P
