   Two US boogie blues rockers. Cactus s/t debut from 1970 featured the great rhythm section of Carmine Appice and Tim Bogert who came over from Iron Butterfly. Vocalist Rusty Day was in the Amboy Dukes and guitarist Jim McCarty from the Detroit Wheels shreds and smokes on this album. Boogie With Canned Heat (1968) was the band's debut and featured the anthem, "On The Road Again". Arguably the band's best album. Your favourite between these two albums:
