I'd love to get my hands on this for the Hull show but it's a bit pricey......

Maybe the Hull show will get a release of its own in the future. I've already bought Live At Leeds 3 times.

Isn't there a CD edition with the Hull stuff? I do feel this album has been "repackaged" a bit too much now.

I agree, I've lost count of how many versions have come out over the years but at present it seems the only way to get the Hull show is to buy this £80 package. I dare say at some point in the future it will receieve a separate release, once sales of the box set have dried up.

I've also already bought the album 3 times and am unlikely to pick this one up unless I find it on sale somewhere. That said, their live CD from the Isle of Wight festival also has a performance of Tommy--a very good one. I recommend that CD very highly.

^ I seem to remember I have an old VHS of that performance somewhere and remember it as being very good. Unfortunately I'm not geared up to play VHS anymore.

lol, I bought LAL 3 times too....I bought original album with that bootleg-like album jacket full of surprises, in one small record shop in Brussel in 1978. When I bought CD and when I heard that the Amazing Journey version, I was and still thinking about why they dont put  that one at the original LAL 1970 album Cry.

I hope that  they are gonna issued some great DVDs or even CDs set from 1972 - 1976, because that Moon era The Who phase I love more than 1969 - 1971.

I have the remaster one before this version and am quite content with that. Great live album, perhaps the Who at their best.

I've also still got my original vinyl copy from the seventies with all the inserts. Tongue
