Not an entry to be proud of. This belongs to an intellectual and emotional level that I'm not used to descend to. But one thing I can say in favour of this is that the Dutch have finally found the guts to enter the arena with a song in their own langage, for the first time in 12 years.
If this post will be hidden, I can understand why...

I love it! It's better than any stand-up and Monty Python put together.
Well... we came in third. O_o ... and for the first time ever, the commentators were so sarcastic and hilarious; but that is probably going to be their last day at the National Televison. |

as music the eurovision is pure sh*te. as entertainment it's pretty ok though, the catch is that you have to not take it seriously. all the songs this year were crap but some were quite funny. this year's winner song is not good either but the singer is very talented.
my favourie eurovision song ever has to be this: estonias song from 2008 or 07 called leto svet. it's hilarious!

I couldn't watch it this year. Too bad, I would have love to see geopolitics in action.

^ Yep, Britain coming last was nothing to do with political voting... just a very forgettable song. How anyone thought it would be a good entry is beyond me. Eurovision used to be entertaining in a kitch way, haven't watched in years though...

It's definitely more interesting than 90% of the Eurovision or Pre-Eurovision songs I've seen so far. |
