I feel hugely popular because I receive the same PM twice.The senders then dont think the PM they have sent has worked and so the send again! Wish they were sending me money!

yes.
Funnily enough I have had no problems whatsoever.
So it appears that the sender gets a message saying "PM not sent" or something similar.
Jim Garten and James Lee have encountered this problem too.

Actually I get a fault-message, and almost blank page, and when
I press the refresh button it seems to work, but not
always. But after that, somethimes I seem to have post it twice 
Since I always have very intelligent and worth while things to say, I think most people will like to read my PM's twice

You aren't THAT popular. I got an error message and clicked the send button again. Nothing wrong with the website.

I've had the same problem for the last 2 weeks or so now, but thought that the site overhaul was the cause, so I didn't complain.
