Well, what a blistering gig that was!

Brilliant songs played by very talented musicians who are right on top of their game.  But what "made it" for me is that they obviously enjoy what they do so very much and that excitement and enthusiasm rubs off on the crowd.  That also makes them one of the most enjoyable bands to photograph!

Anyway, on to the pics - here's a sample:

As usual the full set (including some great ones of Tina playing a guitar solo) are up on my MySpace page:

It's the first album under the pics link.

If you like them feel free to leave a comment or two!

Nice picsThumbs Up

I saw then on Sunday at a venue called 'Mr Kyps' in Poole. £8 for a ticket was an absolute steel for a band of this class. I think there were about a 100 people roughly (the venue could comfortably hold twice that) but it was a tremendous atmosphere and Magenta were pretty much on top of their game. I loved the choice of songs bringing in good chunks of the recent Metamorphosis album as well as prime cuts from Seven ,Home and the debut.

i would say this was the loudest Magenta gig of the 4 I've been to.Chris Fry is an absolute genius on lead guitar ,as good as Howe ,Hackett et all in my estimation. All in all a powerful rocking performance..great stuff!
