I want to get this record but there are several versions around. The one that's avilable in a store from my city is a Japanese mini LP that has no bonus tracks. There is a double CD version that includes the mighty "Mountain Jam" but some people at Amazon poited out that the audience can't be heard and each track is somewhat cut at the end. Translation= Less live feel.

Which is the one I should get as regards package bonus tracks sound quality etc???

I only have the regular CD version.

I may get the double-CD version though.

Some of the tunes also recorded over the two-days at Fillmore are also on one of their studio albums, if I remember correctly.

Think I am going to get the mini LP version. I can't spend more time without hearing "In Memory of Elisabeth Reed"

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

The Fillmore Concerts box set has a different track of Reed, it's actually the 2 performances edited together. I've also got the DTS 5.1 mix, now that will really give you the concert feel!

If you haven't bought a copy yet, try to get the latest release - the two-disc Deluxe Edition.  It's single disc priced and expands on the original release by adding the Mountain Jam, One Way Out and Trouble No More from Eat a Peach and a handful of tracks from the two days of shows that were previously released only on the Allmans' box set and on the two volumes of the Duane Allman Anthology.  Plus, the set sounds fantastic.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
