Topic: Imaginary Black Sabbath Concert Posted: October 28 2008 at 05:28 |
Like some other guy did with Yes & Pink Floyd, i want you to put together your own Imaginary Black Sabbath concert. Any era, any lenght (I don't think they ever played over 2-2,5 hours, though). This will be fun, as the sabbath-fanboy i am!

1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (6)
2. Behind the Wall of Sleep/N.I.B (10 including an extended bass solo)
3. War Pigs (8)
4. Meglomania (10)
5. Killing Yourself to Live (7)
6. Dirty Women (8 extended guitar solo)
--------------------------------interlude----------------------------------
6. Paranoid/Iron Man (5)
7. Faires were Boots (7)
8. Planet Caravan (5)
9. The Writ (10)
10. Sabbra Cadabbra (6)
11. Evil Woman/Wicked World (5)
12. A National Acrobat (6)
13. Spiral Architect (6)
Would be a very very nice show, having selected the more proggy ones, it would not be a show to nod your head and show the "devil-horns", though you can do that, you'll also pay attention to the delightness of these songs.

My dream would be a GWAR style Ozzy vs. Dio deathmatch with the entire show being one giant medley. As a matter of fact, I would have GWAR design the entire set so the two vocalists would have the best oversized foam halbreds, foam chainsaws, and foam hammers to beat eachother with. I am not sure what songs would be included in the medley. But I would have Ozzy sing a Rainbow song in the middle just to make sure everyone is paying attention. Oh, and I would have every person who has ever played for the various 90's versions of BS play.
That would be the coolest thing ever.

I would like to hear Ozzy sing Dio and Gillan tunes:
Neon Knights
Children of the Sea
Digital Bitch
Born Again
Die Young
Mob Rules
Country Girl
Zero the Hero
Lonely is the Word
Heaven & Hell
Encore with songs that Ozzy never sang on stage:
She's Gone
It's Alright (Originally sung by Bill Ward)
