That's it. Your song of the week, or say the latest seven days.... no matter. What does it mean? At least to me, it means that song which you have featured more times on the guitar or another instrument... or that one which you've whistled in the shower or wherever ... that song that has remaining sticky in your mind, lately.

It could be more than one single song..... In my case, my special mention goes to Concert in D (Second Movement) by Steve Howe, and Andante Sostenuto by Jan Akkerman, both which I've tried to play on my acoustic guitar and.... and............ in the school, in the shower, here, there and everywhere, I can't stop singing those beautiful melodies! These are, no doubt, my songs of the week.

What about you folks?

The best you can is good enough...

I've had the urge to play Time Was by Wishbone Ash a few times this week. What a great song; in fact Argus is a great album.

Passaro de Luz by Bacamarte

I wish I could find more music like this! Such wonderful guitars!
The scattered jigsaw of my redemption laid out before my eyes
Each piece as amorphous as the other - Each piece in its lack of shape a lie

That's an easy one to get stuck in your head. Damn, now I will be humming it all day.

The songs I've listened to most this week are either Second Life Syndrome by Riverside, Moya by GYBE or Re-connect by Anathema.

don't make me choose just one of those, that would be impossible.

I've also tried learning to play East Hastings by GYBE and that is really difficult, I can do parts of it but I can't get the whole lot together.

Get Thy Bearings - KC

Just got the Epitaph box set, and damn is that song addictive.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me

Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

My favorite death-metal track!

I've got two this week:

Vortex: Prolegomenes - listened to it again and again while walking, travelling etc.. Pure, complex perfection. Actually so unbelievably perfect it makes me want to cry.

Graetful Dead: Terrapin Station - Heard it for the first time on wedensday. Fantastic! A prog-epic and a classic!

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

Prog: "A Gadarai Megszállott" (After Crying) - awesome!

Non-prog: "Killing Him" (Amy Levere) - creepy!

From an otherwise weak disc (by prog standards), I keep listening to the title track from Sylvan's Presets. If only the rest of the album followed this song's formula.

Beautiful song, however.
