If Eddie Vedder lives in the 60's/70's....

   Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam are a brilliant band as far as I am concerned.

But, If EV had lived in teh golden age of music, I think he would have been part of one of if not the greatest band ever....I look at it like this.  Pearl Jam is a stand out band from the "Grunge" era of music, and they are the most talented and best band, but if this were done in the age of prog...hell, they would have been amazing.

Anyone have  a take on this?

	Well as a fellow Pearl Jam fan, I think they wouldn't have fit well then. They're combination of influences from the Who to Kiss, to the Doors, Deep Purple, the Buzzcocks, the Ramones, and so forth wouldn't have been able to mix together as those bands came in the late 60s and throughout the 70s. So I dunno. I like them here and now better than a speculated 60s. They'd still rock no doubt, but not nearly as neato.
