Maestro Duprat dies at 74.

   Rogerio Duprat, Brazilian maestro, orchestrator and musician, died yesterday at age of 74.

Duprat was the one of the fathers of Brazilian tropicalismo movement and also was involved with avant-garde, experimental, jazz and electronic music.

He studied with Stockhausen and Boulez and was a fellow of Frank Zappa.
