Page numbers are from “The Steve Howe Collection". Please consult that book for more details on these guitars.

All prices are US Dollars and are opening bids. Shipping, taxes, and import fees to be negotiated.

1) Gibson Style U harp guitar
Opening Bid: $8,000
Year: c1924
Serial number: 79513
Page: 11-12
These were only made between approximately 1902 and 1929. Almost 19 inches wide with a six string neck and 10 descending bass strings. Harp guitars have similar musical possibilities as the classical lute, While playing the regular neck, one can add bass notes as accompaniment. It is in very good 9.5 condition, especially considering its age. Original case.

2) Martin & Coupa guitar
Opening Bid:  $8,500
Year: c1845
Serial number: None
Pages: 77-79
This is part of the Martin guitar company's history. It's quoted as being a "transitional experimental guitar" in that it appears to contain designs and innovations that appear regularly, later on that century. A museum piece that plays. Comes in a hard shell, shaped case.

Each guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity. Steve Howe has owned both of these guitars for over 30 years.

I wish I had money.
