'Wrong Movements' is the name of the Robert Wyatt  Biography written by Michael King and published in 1994. (unfortunately out of print). This is one of my all time favourite rock biographies. King presents the biography of RW in chronological order, interwoven with interviews and divers documents like concert posters, record sleaves and  reviews and lots of  photos. Through the biography of Robert Wyatt, the author paints at the same time a picture of the 60's and 70's and gives insight into the story of the  bands (Wild Flowers, Soft Machine, Matching Mole,) , and the musicians  RW has worked with,( plus a complete Discography of RW up to 1993) If you see a copy of this book buy it!

Interesting book, full of facts but more in the form of a scrap book, than a traditional rock musician's  biography that provides a coherent story. Hence it does lack critical analysis, but while there are few words to get in the way of the facts.

Hopefully with Out Bloody Rageous out, Wrong Movement's publisher will have a few extra copies printed up ready for sale - I had to wait over 6 months from my original order date, before  a reprint happened! (However, it was a pleasant surprise when it appeared out of the blue, having been told by Ottakars it was out of print - at least they persisted  reordering it!!!
