Great site!  I've already been posting here for a while, as you can see, but I figured it's about time for an introduction post.

Anyway, where do I start?  Well, I'm 16 and relatively new to Prog; I only started getting into it about... oh, 6 months or so ago.  The good thing about being new to such a great genre is the fact that I discover amazing bands almost daily.

This is the part where I tell you some of my favorite bands.  I'll try to make a top 10 (I'm never great at making more than 10... to damned hard)

1) Pain of Salvation
2) Van der Graaf Generator
3) Gentle Giant
4) Genesis
5) Rush
6) Pink Floyd
7) Anglagard
8) Yes
9) King Crimson
10) Jethro Tull

Right now, I'm getting into some Neo-Progressive stuff like Anglagard, Marillion, Spock's Beard, and The Flower Kings (yes, I know the recent stuff today isn't really considered Neo-Prog)

If you'd like to see some other bands I listen to, check the sig.  Feel free to give me some recommendations.

I'm gonna try to post here as much as possible because it's rare to find people with similar tastes (I <3 the interweb).  Hopefully, I'll get to know some of you guys.
