I go for Froese. Aqua end Epsilon were my companions during a long hot night spent tripping in a public park long time ago
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I seem to recall buying a Bay City Rollers LP from Woolworths, which just shows how long ago it was. Tongue

Christopher Franke - Pacific Coast Highway. I like Aqua as well but don't know anything else on the list. Never really got into KS.
(and when Franke left TD the band it practically fell apart imo)

This is so weird to me. Along with Departure From The Northern Wasteland, Froese's Aqua is one of the few solo outings I think are up the with Tangerine Dream's 1970's classics. But maybe that's just me, as Aqua share the rich sonic qualities I love about Phaedra. I notice it's not "universally loved".

-quite surprised that you actually enjoy Irrclict more as well.

I have Aqua on CD, but it sounds like a watered-down version of Tangerine Dream to me. It's no surprise that one of my 2-star albums has won the poll though. Tongue

The ones I know are:

Edgar Froese - Aqua
Michael Hoenig - Departure from the Northern Wasteland
Conrad Schnitzler - Schwarz (Eruption)
Klaus Schulze - Irrlicht

I don't care for the idea of "winners and losers" commonly, just doesn't jibe with my philosophy, but I went with Aqua. I find it to be a truly wonderful album.
