Hi, I am Marco Galletti, a European musician living on the border between Italy and France. After having issued two progressive rock Albums in the 80’s with my band Arcansiel and two solo Albums in 1994 and 2005, I came back to produce my music with 3 simple rules. 1: I produce and distribute my music from the start to the end with no external contribution. I follow directly the composition, production, mixing, mastering and delivery phases. 2: Every composition is a combination of elementary ‘musical objects’ that can be used, combined, processed, reused several times in different timeframes. 3: Every Album is originally conceived in an immersive environment (7.1.4) as the spatialization of sound is strictly a part of the creation process. Only in a second phase the Album is downmixed to Stereo for granting its diffusion through non 3D-compliant platforms. My music starts from a progressive rock and western classical background, but tries to sound ‘different to any model’. So it is difficult to classify. Lyrics are not a ‘central topic’ for me. They simply have to express the original feeling that inspired the musical object. So they are short, they can be in any language I know (English, Italian, French), they try to be ‘well-sounding’. You can find any detail on my NEW RELEASE (called ‘Musical Objects’) here in my website: www.marcogalletti.net. The Album is streamed by all the most important stores, both in Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 original mix (Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon) and the Stereo downmix (all the others, including YouTube). That’s all. Well… I know that at present more than 120.000 new tracks are streamed every day…. But the I hope the 12 tracks of this Album could be interesting. Any feedback is welcome (see www.marcogalletti.net). ![]() Edited by ondebo - February 01 2025 at 10:30 |

The album "Musical Objects" is 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 stars, amazing! I gave 5 stars also to "Four Daisies" & "Still Searching" you should try and present your case to join PA as an artist, go to the front page, click on "Forums" on top left, when it opens scroll down till you'll see on the left "Suggest New Bands & artists" when it opens click on the New Topic (Blue +) and then post your name to Subject and write "Marco Galletti to Neo" or whatever genre you think your music is, at message write your bio and give them links to your music so the Neo team or whatever can check you out, you might copy and paste the post above! good luck!

For anyone else who's interested, the 'Musical Objects' album is on YouTube Music as a playlist here: https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_naxO175qxML_F8R565jssKRVNQ1hHMha4.
Also on Spotify, for those who use that site: https://open.spotify.com/album/3Xt7ckLciFqYkJx32B1Riv. Edit: I'm two thirds of the way through the album, and it's definitely prog, though I can't easily place it in any one particular sub genre. From an initial impression I would think that either Crossover, Prog Folk or even perhaps Eclectic Prog would be the most likely ones. Note to admins: This shouldn't really have been posted in 'Prog News, Press Releases', since Marco isn't in the archives at the moment as a solo artist, so maybe the topic could be moved to 'Suggest New Bands and Artists', and we can take it from there. ![]() Edited by yam yam - February 10 2025 at 22:54 |
