Hi everyone

Sending for submission and consideration my first EP. Thanks in advance : )

The EP “First Arrival” is the result of 8 years of meticulous and restless work of the drummer and composer Miguel Stoopignan.
Born in Mexico, in the northern town of Mexicali, Baja California, Miguel created an EP with the main influences being oriented at progressive rock, with an impetuous search for compact lyric structure and memorable melodies, taking as main reference the “neo prog” movement and 80’s based rock.
“First Arrival” consists of 5 songs: “Sun Rising”, “First Arrival”, “The Reaching”, “The Bell” & “Incandescent”.
This EP counted with the collaboration of international musicians: Zoltan Renaldi (Indonesia), Chris Commisso (USA), Marco Gnoatto (Argentina) and Lee Pomeroy (UK), the last one who has been bassist of legends of progressive rock as Rick Wakeman, Steve Hackett y Trevor Rabin.
The EP also had as special guests, Mexicali based musicians of great talent and experience, as Carlos Humarán (from prog legends CAST), Ernesto Carmona, Leonardo Olea Zarate and Eduardo Gomez.
Production, mixing and mastering was done by Carlos “Cabeto” Delgado, and it was also co-produced by Miguel Stoopignan.
Album artwork was developed by graphic designer Thomas Ewerward, who was in charge of portraying the visual idea that Miguel had in mind. Thomas has collaborated with important groups and artists of progressive rock scene, like Spock’s Beard, Neal Morse and Transatlantic (among many others).

I could not figure out the "image" insertion in the forum Cry  I'm sorry, but, here you can find the cover art:

The EP is just a shade over 20 minutes of music, and it's definitely prog (with Neo Prog seeming a pretty fair choice of sub genre to me), but I'm not sure whether it's quite going to be enough material for the team to evaluate you at the moment. Do you have plans for releasing a full album at any time in the near future?

Edit: I added you to Awesome Prog anyway, which is the site that most of our evaluation teams use to track their evaluations.

I'm listening to the title track. I like it. Stylistically it reminds me of Unitopia.
“On the day of my creation, I fell in love with education. And overcoming all frustration, a teacher I became.”
