Track by track (only musical part, 11 tracks):

Episode 01: Do You Remember the Day We Left Earth?

Loneliness of a man, woke up 2,5 billion years after the second-to-last man lived. What can he feel? He just closed his eyes in a deep stasis capsule and woke up far beyond what he expected. Actually it is not hard to feel, because every human comes into this world alone. And leave alone, nobody goes with you. Illusions of physical existence can fool you for a while, but when time comes you will feel it. Total loneliness. Not good, not bad. Just as it is.

Episode 03: It Flows Through Your Body

Original track was written by Tao almost 9 years ago. It was inspired by a crazy pulsar dance. Some pulsars have very stable pulsation, so they're lights are used for satellite navigation. But some of them can turn chaotic and change very unpredictable. What could happen if we meet them some time in the future? This track is about how mission's engineer Ea Karma got lethal gamma-shots next to such a pulsar. Light music, shot, death.

Episode 05: Pines and Stars

Most complex shaped track and Tao's favorite one. It started from only 1 picture, seen on the internet, and had tons of changes, rewritings and rearrangements. Some bands can even create long-play albums from deleted parts that this track had. But in the end... It is the most satisfying track. It has multiple changes in its mood, complex beginning with synths, solos, progressive, the "flyover" part when you imagine yourself flying above the trees after the coldness of outer space and calm "meditation" part in the end. Love it so much!

Episode 07: Milling the Worlds People was away for a long period and AI has developed in a new form of unliving evolution - civilization iUS. It has its code, it terraforms all available planets for people purposes. No people around? No big deal, it still has its program. iUS is a force that does not care about "saving species" in the new world discovered out there. It has its program: suppress resistance, colonize, terraform. And the music is just about that colonization. Rude and merciless. Pointless.

Episode 09: Planetoid Ria

Search for people brought Ri to a strange place, where one of oldest iUS Units, Hyper-Computer Ria lives. Occupying a small planet, her coordinating and processing power let iUS operate effectively in the Orion cluster of stars. This track was written by Tao after watching the film "Interstellar" and had the original name "rage against the dying of the light". It has a main sustaining guitar part, which is balanced by eastern style solos and heavy riffs.

Episode 10: In Ria's Memory

Working with Ria's memory, searching for traces of humanity, the protagonist is now sure he is the last one human in the Universe. The track tells us about Ri and Ea's relationship in parallel with the main course of narration.

Episode 11: Ea's World

Ea Karma is now a 2,5 billion year old ancient creature, who saved her egoic mind baggage digitally. "Even a million years of loneliness will not turn you to madness if you are in the right place" that's how Messier-81 mission's master Ado used to say. What would he say if he got to know that Ea will handle so much more? And she gets a new mobyle body now, so this ocean world is Ea's rebirth place. One single note played for almost 6 minutes, monotonous and powerful, telling a story of living on planet Ria-5.

Episode 13: As You Fall

Despite Ea's support, Ri's thoughts are out there. As he got to know he can potentially get even with humanity's executioner - he falls for that idea. Mind's itching makes Ri fall from a higher place, that Ea offered him. So, new generators pulled the gravity almost to black hole state and plunged the ship into relative stasis, while stretching it into a string and focusing singularity in the right direction. Then a brief lapse of perception occured. And the ship, in charge of the army of iUS, popped up on the other end of the string.

Episode 15: Deeper Into the Core

Fighting and exploring, then fighting again and again - exploring. The track has a long story, when Tao started to play 7-string guitar 10 years ago and a particular musical track is a descendant of the first song created with that. It has a really beautiful refrain part and guitar-solo, played by ukrainian guest musician Oleh Andrievsky.

Episode 17: Nemesis

Darkest mind brouth Ri to a nomad starless planet. Now he wants to have an answer. Ri finds out artificial Sun Eaters civilization has a program to drop matter into the antiworld, careless about purposes. Just another instrument, not perfect and gone crazy. In the original full-texted version Ri is able to ask a right marker-question, and Spillway can not give an answer to that. This showed Ri that Sun Eaters have no real fault.

Episode 18: White-Blue Light Above You
The culmination of the story. Just a dance of 2 human beings somewhere in time... Dreaming their small dreams, hoping their small hopes, compared to the vastness of space... Spinning and flying apart, floating smoothly in zero gravity. Best track to show your daughter or growing son. This can make them dream about space exploration, learn and create.

ABOUT ARTIST:
iOm is a one-man-band, started in Estonia, Tallinn in 2020 and it has only one persistent member, Tao. Playing guitar for about 20 years, creating music, reading books, fantasizing and meditating - that was the background of this particular work. Musically inspired by eastern sitar players like Ravi and Anoushka Shankar and westernt prog metal mastononts like Dream Theater, Tao creates stories, composes music, plays and records guitar. Shortly about the band's name: "i" means "I" or "me" and "Om" means Big Bang, the first vibration of the Universe. So combining together iOm means I am just a small part of the continuing process of expanding matter on a physical level. I am a part of big Om play. And the more I learn about the Universe, the smaller and fragile my ego and humanity in general gets. It really makes almost no sense.

Best wishes,
