Any advice on similar bands? Or projects by UZVA's members after the band ceased to be?

I haven't heard that name in a while. I think they were inspired by Tasavallan Presidentti. Have you heard them?

Not too many bands mix prog rock with jazz fusion and chamber jazz.

Piirpauke perhaps?

Seems to be a Finnish thing.

As far as members going on to other projects:

Ville Väätäinen was in Inner Light Orchestra, Jason muuttta taivaaseen and Jätkäjätkät

Inka Eerola was in Marbleheroes and Tenhi

Antti Hermaja was ion The Bad Ass Brass Band, Hullu Ruusu, Kaikukasti, Lappländer and Lost Paragraph

Other members who knows. None of these other associated acts sounded like Uzva though. Not all even prog.

I can suggest Québécois bands like Interférences Sardine or Rouge Ciel
Piirpauke is indeed worthy a listen
.

And if they have to be finnish, then Alamaailman Vasarat
Though AV take it to the next level
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
