Now that Bruce Willis is retiring from acting (due to aphasia, talk dissabilaty/slurred talk). Hes position as one of the most impactfull and famed actors, spessialy from 1985 to 2000. A legacy so wide and impressivly diverse, deservs to be remembered and relished. From being the ACTION hero, hes most famous as the matcho and bold action actor. Often do we forgett he have done and mastered a wide array of roles, an underrated character actor, from sensative and docile in Unbreakable and the Sixth Sense, dorky /quirky sci-fi in the 5th Element, crime art noir in Sin City, and one can mention movies in forever, as hes been quite prolific, so he have done quite respectfull amount of movies the past 40 years.
So which movies are your greatest moments with Bruce? Mine is Sin City Edited by Icarium - April 04 2022 at 15:51 |

Bruce Willis doesn't take kindly to being called a liar by Stephen Colbert. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - April 04 2022 at 08:35 |

The first time i saw the title for the 12 Monkeys, filtered through norwegian eyes and not very schooled in pronounciation, i read 12 Monkey Eyes, which made no sence

He is so iconic, as the lone ranger action hero,. One of the best ever in those type of roles, he was Jason Statham before there were Jason Statham.

Hair today, gone tomorrow: Bruce Willis back in his heyday when he did a spot of Moonlighting as a Blue-Eyed Soul singer with The Temptations. The vest is yet to come!

One of the great Bruce Willis lines has to be:
Yippee-Ki-Ya motherf*cker!

to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology... |

Well remember him in Moonlighting with Cybil Shepherd. That was such great escapism. He does the cheeky chappy role incredibly well and has that on screen easy going charm that is magical. Many great films. I love most of the usual ones such as 12 Monkeys, Looper, Armageddon but my favourite is undoubtedly 16 Blocks with Mos Def and great screen baddy David Morse. Directed by Richard Donner, if you havent seen this please do so. It's perfect.

My greatest moment was not in movies. One night...about 5 years ago I saw Bruce Willis with a Blues band playing harp. He took a solo on harmonica backed by a swing beat and he did a magnificent job!! He had really nice phrasing and I recall doing a double take. He was pretty good and he gave a decent performance. Nice improvisation!!
