What if we actively tried to make it worse by turning it into a quadruple album? I thought it would be funny, so I did just that! Here's the tracklist:

Seems like Quadrophenia would be a more likely candidate for a quadruple LP.

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Can't argue with that.

A quadruple album sounds like too much to me. There are a few triple albums out there (the ones I recall are George Harrison's All Things Must Pass where the third LP consists of extended jams, and in all honesty I skip it; and then The Clash' Sandinista! which is sort of their "white album"), but a quadruple album is too big a mouthful. Of course there are box sets and compilations with more than three discs. The template used here appears to be the soundtrack of the 1975 film version of Tommy. I very much prefer the original album from 1969. The film was horrible while the soundtrack had some good elements for sure (Tina Turner's version of "The Acid Queen" is probably my favourite). Still I think it lacks the heartfelt emotional sincerity of the original album which may actually be my favourite Who album - not necessarily their best, objectively speaking, but the one that means the most to me.

The point isn't that this is a good idea. I made this because I thought it would be really funny. It follows the movie template because some of those versions of the songs are longer, there was no favoritism there. I do, however, prefer I'm Free swapped with Sensation like in the film
