I have 2 albums by a band called Glencoe. They have never been mentioned on here and have no reviews of their albums.
They have impressive connections: they supported Deep Purple on tour and later, guitarist John Turnbull and bassist Norman Watt-Roy were members of Ian Dury and The Blockheads. Watt-Roy played the brilliant bass line on Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick and also plays in Wilko Johnson's band. Glencoe morphed out of a band called Forever More, 2 members of which went on to form The Average White Band.
Anyone else heard of them?

They're in the PA DB, but no-one's taken the trouble to enter their two albums.

I guess I'll do it

EDIT: done

I suggested Glencoe for inclusion in PA recently. Smile

Ha ha, I was just going to say that. Sounds like a whisky like Glendiddich, Glenlivet and Glenhoddle.

At least from your post, we know the situation is recent, and not dating from years ago.

You complain that your suggestions are sytematically rejected, than when one one is actually accepted, it would be nice if you add the albums.Wink
If opening the artiste's page is not open to forum members (only admlins, mods and collabs), adding the albums is open. All you need is log in like you do when posting a review.

^^ As far as I'm aware from previous experience, I'm not allowed to add artists, albums and videos to the main site myself. I can only suggest that others might kindly add them. Smile
