Yes. Most music sites I've visited have them listed as progressive metal. Why do you ask?

Though I think that it is mostly for their earliest albums. Their most recent albums have been lacking in metal. They've been more in the vein of crossover prog or maybe post rock, instead of metal.

I Agree completely. Their last album "Love, Fear and the Time Machine" isn't Progressive Metal (IMO). I didn't find any Prog Metal element or sound! in this album . I think they changed their direction from Prog Metal to what music that they enjoy! It seem that they don't want to force themselves to produce or playing music that their fanatic fans expect or want from them (IMO).

I have all of them and yes last two are not prog metal, but the last Lunatic Soul was 100% ambient, acoustic mellow almost non-rock music. Seems Mariusz is taking Riverside down that path.........Anathema made a similar musical style change.

Anno Domini High Defenition is clearly progressive metal in my opinion... But the rest of the albums? Not sure. Not the last one according to me.

Up to the last, or the last 2 albums, they were progressive and they were metal, so yes, I would have said they were prog metal. Now, I don't know.
