The following Pallas albums should be changed to compilations:
The Arrive Alive Demos - Mistakenly placed under Live, this album contains demos of the tracks seen on their live album "Arrive Alive", but are not actually live themselves. |

Also, the Primus release, "Rhinoplasty", is erroneously listed as an album. It should be listed as an EP.

The Phish album, "At The Roxy - Atlanta '93", is listed as being a studio album while it should be a live album.
It also might be worth noting the dates of the shows seen on the discs, which are as follows: Discs 1-3: February 19th, 1993 Discs 4-6: February 20th, 1993 Discs 7-8: February 20th, 1993 |

The Soft Machine albums "BBC - Radio 1967 - 1971", "BBC Radio 1971 - 1974" and "The Peel Sessions" are listed as compilations. But since they're both recordings of live radio performances, it would be more accurate to list them as live albums.

The Soft Machine album, "Rubber Riff", is incorrectly listed as having been released in 1994. It was originally released in 1976 and was only credited to Karl Jenkins, not any of the members of soft machine, (though Jenkins was a member of the band at the time). It was re-released as a Soft Machine album in 1994, and reissued on vinyl in 2002 as "De Wolfe Sessions" with the band being credited as Karl Jenkins' Soft Machine.
"Rubber Riff" Release History:
LP Music De Wolfe DWS/LP 3331 (1976 UK) CD Voiceprint VP190CD (1994 Europe) LP Turning Point Music TPM-02217 (2002 UK) Another thing that might be worth mentioning has to do with the similar album, "Spaced", which like Rubber Riff, features tracks originally recorded for broadcast. Both releases contain original recordings, but Spaced is considered as a compilation. If we were to go by the same logic for Rubber Riff being amongst the studio releases, then Spaced should be as well (or vice-versa if it would be more appropriate). Also, the (1969) in the title of the album is rather unnecessary since there is no other release by them with the same title nor does it appear in the album cover. "Spaced" Release History: CD Cuneiform Records Rune 90 (1996 US) |

Changed the site to Facebook page as well. Is it OK? As for the albums, you or any PA member having the info and the will

Thanks, I'll sort them out a bit later. It's not that simple: albums first released as solo projects, then as the band records. A bit confusing and takes time to figure out.

Amended and updated biography. Thank you :) ------------------------ UK outfit MOOCH is the creative vehicle of composer and
multi-instrumentalist Steve Palmer, who founded this project in 1992. His first
two official productions were initially cassette only releases, namely 3001 and
Planetfall, and the former of these was picked up by Taste Records. Meanwhile
Palmer had recorded another album, Postvorta, which became his official debut
when released in 1993. The CD version of 3001 followed in 1994, and Starhenge
was next in 1995. It would take four years for the next album under the Mooch
moniker to see the day, when In Search Of The Acid Metal Grille was issued in
1999. A further six years would pass before the fifth Mooch album appeared, the
2005 release Flight Of The Dub Voyager. Swift on the heels of this production
Gaiaspace followed in 2006. So far Mooch had issued albums exploring music ranging from
ambient, experimental synths influenced by the likes of Klaus Schulze to more
regular space rock in the vein of Ozric Tentacles, Hawkwind and Pink Floyd, but
in 2007 the output of this project took a left turn into more typical
psychedelic territories with the release of the double concept CD Dr Silbury’s
Liquid Brainstem Band. This musical conceptual journey continued in a trio of 60's
albums released from 2008 and onwards – 1967½, “1966” and 1968a. In 2010, still on the Ambientlive label, Mooch released the
uncompromising The Pagan Year, a double concept CD ranging from electronic rock,
through full-on progressive to more ambient music. Train Klang and Green Glow
followed, the former kosmische electronic music. 2012 saw the twentieth anniversary for the band, releasing
the full length documentary on DVD entitled Twenty Year Trip, but this was the
last release on Ambientlive Records. In 2013 the Stations Of The Sun album was
released – folk/progressive music with hints of Renaissance and Mostly Autumn.
Another collaboration with ex-Hawkwind chanteuse Bridget Wishart led to the Beltane
To Samhain EP, before the band’s 25th album Mrs Silbury’s Delicious
Mushroom Flavoured Biscuits was released as a vinyl LP by the Greek label
Cosmic Eye. Palmer continues to stretch the boundaries of music with his
genre-spinning band. |
