Ah...the Rocket Scientists are probably my favorite of the 90's wave of prog rock. Sadly, they've only done 4 albums since 93. If I were to cite their sources, I'd say they were a cross between Beatles vocal harmonies, 80's KC rhythms, and Emerson's keyboard style. On Brutal Architecture, they were much more mellow, even doing what I would consider a tribute to Wake of Poseidon, in the song Mariner. On Oblivion Days they added a hard rock sound to the mix. Great stuff. Highly recommended.
