^^ How do you make your hollandaise?
I used to really enjoy Honey Nut Cheerios; but, since this high blood sugar thing came about I've had to revamp my breakfast: high protein and low carb. This morning, for example, I'll have poached eggs with a little roasted tomatiillo salsa over them, turkey bacon, toasted Ezekiel bread (low carb and made from sprouted grain), 8 oz. of milk and 8 oz. of Tropicana light and healthy OJ.
Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day.

It's pretty obvious our better halves don't cook for us eh? Times have changed....
I skip brekkies most days, just caffeine or rooibos tea.

You don't even sneak in a quick bowl of cereal or something...?
I used to never eat breakfast. Lately though, I have been, and it's much more fun that way.

This morning I had an egg and bacon biscuit and hash browns fro ma local fast food joint.
not the most wholesome meal, I'll admit, but it was still fantastic.

^^^I just can't believe how this thread has taken off.....
I can just seeing it reach 4000 posts, and we'll have to start a new one, 'cos we won't know what anyone's had for breakfast....
anyway...change of plan today....I moved to Shredded Wheat....shortly afterwards, I moved to the toilet....

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

A famous quote from me is:
"sh*t! I just ate shredded wheat!"
Take it from me / You heard it here first / I just made that up on the spot because I wanted to post something but didn't know what to say / God I'm hungry... / You think they serve vanilla bean ice cream down the street, or will it be french vanilla...?
EDIT: Thinking over things, I realized that breakfast is the meal which gives me the worst bowel movements throughout the day. Why's this??

I'm quite routine with my breakfast, but managed not to get tired of it yet. I just put a cup of oatmeal in boiling water and let it cook while I sit down at the computer: whether it becomes "oatmeal", porridge, or gruel, depends on how interesting the reading is I try to mix up the extra's I put in...the staples are pure cocoa, bananas, blueberries, any dried fruits, protein powder (whey), cinnamon, and a fair bit of honey. No milk because my stomach would self destruct in the morning So I'm a carb addict for sure: love cereals too, especially the one's that go well with fruits and nuts...maybe put some syrup or honey on 'em - good stuff.

Now tell me that's not appetising
