Nope. Like with AC/DC, you know that you have a pretty good idea of what to expect. I love Pure Instinct as well. I'm sure that KBT would also like that one; at least for the cover.

Hmmm. How should I answer that? This was my first listen. I didn't want to take it out and throw it across the room, so that is a plus. And I'll definitely listen to it again. I miss Freddy Mercury. I kind of like Paul Rodgers. Bad Company has never been a favorite of mine, but I've always kind of liked them. Song 13 is called Surf's Up...School's Out. The Beach Boys meet Alice Cooper. 
In summary, for a first listen I enjoyed it. I have no idea if it will hold up under multiple listens or deeper scrutiny. I'm pretty easy going with bands that I like though, so as always take my thoughts with a grain of salt. I read a PA review that gave it 1 star, so that probably has as much weight as my thoughts on it at that point.

And now for the 1st listen of Volume 2. Volume 1 was a good first listen. However, I need to get it out to the car or the home stereo so I can listen to it louder and get the full effect.

Goooooodmooooring Anotine! Well... it's not exactly a "sexy" album  . Although it's quite folky and Celtic, so maybe some celtic ladies would have been better for them?

^^^Depends on who you are it seems, I've read some reviews which praise it and others which bash it. I like it a lot as a neo-classical album with some nice vocals and some fun and distorted guitars. Personally I think the first half flows better, but the 20-minute improv on the second side is pretty awesome too!
