Cairo is a modern prog band from the U.S.A. with similar elements of ELP.
Check them out if you haven't heard these guys yet. They're awesome.

Here's a band from my hometown that's extremely talented.

Aghora - Formless (name of the album) the link I posted below is a song from that album and it's called Atmas Heave. enjoy.

We recommend listening to our single from our forthcoming debut EP. It can be found at:

http://enteric.bandcamp.com
http://www.reverbnation.com/enteric

Kind of Tool meets Karnivool, with a bit of commercial appeal.

Love to hear your thoughts!!!

Necrophagist is a technical death metal band. i recommend for those who like tech/extreme prog metal and bear with brutal vocal Smile. (Listen to the song Stabwound first, that can give a better idea)

I'd like to recommend a young Australian band called Quandary, and their album Ready to Fail.

You can download the entire album, in all different formats, for whatever price you like (including nothing) from here:

http://quandaryband.com/

This is a video for one of the instrumentals from the album, Penumbra:

Very talented musicians.

Very talented musicians.

Yeah very good ! An amazing music (they have been listen to  FROST* cfr #4 and #9) and I can understand they've been working for 4 years on it. Good job ! This mix between light prog and Power Metal passages is very impressive. I recommend to every PA listeners too.

Whole album in streaming at quandaryband.com/

I recently found this band. Vietgrove. They play instrumental prog which sounds like a cross between Pink Floydian space prog and Genesis symphonic. Really really tasty stuff. here's a link to the mp3 samples on their web site:

I recommend a classic, at least to me.

Talk Talk - Sprit of Eden

It was the climax of their musical development and the starting of their end and i am sure they knew this before the release.

I recommend...

Death at The Gates of Delirium- Contaigeon

Though they are not in PA, though I think they should be, it is a very good debut album.
Hurty flurty schnipp schnipp!

I recommend one Iranian Prog band : AHOORA. Specially their last album "Awkward Diary". Very original and fresh music. Try it and enjoy.

Guys and Gals...

Try JEFF GREEN and his album JESSICA

Its a great album with a sad story. So check the album out on line at the link below and at the same time read the second link to get the story behind the album.
By the way all profits from this album are donated to the Maternity Ward at Southend Hospital. Essex, UK. Read the story and you will know why!!

Listen to the complete album here:

Read the story about the album here:

Hope you enjoy, and if you enjoy enough then help Jeff promote the music by buying it and help someone maybe not go through the same scenario as he did knowing the profits are going to a good cause.

Thanks

Yoda Rules...OK!!!!!
May the 4th be with you..!!

I recommend...

Heres just some random things off the top of my head - for beardfish and jam band lovers: Resistor and Umphreys Mcgee, for something happy: Moon Safari (specifically Blomljud), for violin lovers- KBB and Jean Luc Ponty
