C'mon - the real Rihanna hasn't got time for PA polls, but this fake Rihanna does.
I'm sure Jennifer Aniston has been seen wearing a Tee-shirt sporting the classic Yes logo on it, but I doubt she's even heard a note........

One of my favorite bands of all time. If the op had said ELP I could understand but YES is awesome.

I made this point in my post. ELP were also awesome but they don't have the same standing now they had back in say 1973.

Yep. I believe ELP diluted their career probably unintentionally by releasing sub par and mediocre albums. After BSS or works probably the best thing they did wasn't even a proper ELP album but the one with Powell as the P.

that ELPowell album has a lot of devotees. I've always had mixed feelings about it. It never had that 'Wow factor' that classic ELP had. It is a massive pompous thing that seems to be what people think ELP was. I always saw them as a creative band that made some of the most original keyboard based music ever. BSS was their peak. Possibly they should have ended it there and then to retain their standing. Easier said than done and hindsight is a great thing.Smile

KE9 first Impression parts one/two is amongst the best prog music ever produced, unfortunately the rest of the album is so much inferior it's criminal.....Imagine they had managed to get near that quality all the way through...BSS would be in the top 5 releases for sure!!!

I'd say that Toccata is right up there with those two parts, as well as the second impression of KE9. Those are two of my favorite ELP songs.
